Benjamin Patton is a filmmaker and the founder of the Patton Veterans Project, which hosts free, collaborative filmmaking workshops as a therapeutic pathway for veterans, military families and civilians coping with trauma and posttraumatic stress. (More at pattonvets.org). Prior to founding PVP, he worked in music, television and independent film in New York, both a producer and development executive.

Ben is currently producing “Drone War One: Ukraine,” a forthcoming feature documentary on the emergence of drone warfare in that conflict. (More at dronewarone.net). He is also President and CEO of Patton Spirits LLC, which crafts and markets Kentucky Straight Bourbon and Rye, the proceeds of which benefit the Patton Veterans Project. The grandson of World War II’s General George S. Patton, Jr. and son of Major General George S. Patton IV, he has been associated with the military all of his life. In 2024, Ben was awarded the Meritorious Public Service Medal, one of the highest commendations that can be awarded by the US Army to a private citizen.

Ben earned his BA at Georgetown University and MA in Developmental Psychology at Columbia University. He and his family split their time between New York City and Garrison, NY.
